What this is
A browser-based tool for making — and publishing — App Store and Play Store screenshots. The editor, including a watermarked preview and AI translation, is free, and your first AI Designer run is on us. To export watermark-free and publish straight to the stores, you take a subscription: Solo (one app) or Studio (up to five apps at once), billed monthly or yearly. While you're subscribed you get unlimited exports and store publishing, every device size, and all App Store languages. The AI Designer and AI image generation run on credits — each plan includes a monthly batch, and you can buy more that never expire.
Your designs are yours
Whatever you create with Mokbi is yours. We claim no ownership, no licence, no anything. You can use the exports commercially, in App Store submissions, in marketing, anywhere.
Device frames and template assets
Device frames included in the editor are our own renderings (no Apple/Samsung/Google assets are bundled). Trademarks of those brands belong to their owners. Don't use the frames in a way that implies endorsement by Apple, Samsung, Google or anyone else.
AI features
The AI features generate images and design drafts via third-party AI providers (Google Gemini for images; Anthropic Claude for text and translation). You are responsible for what you generate and publish; don't use the AI features to create unlawful, infringing or deceptive content. AI image generation and the AI Designer run on credits — each plan includes a monthly batch, and you can buy more that never expire; each generation spends credits from your balance. For App Store submissions, remember that store guidelines generally require screenshots to depict your actual app — use AI for backgrounds, art and copy, not to fabricate your app's UI.
Prohibited content (Acceptable Use). It is strictly prohibited to use the AI features to generate, request or attempt to generate NSFW, sexual, adult, pornographic or otherwise sexually explicit content, including nudity, sexualized depictions of real persons, and — without exception — any sexual content involving minors. The same prohibition applies to content depicting graphic violence or gore, self-harm, hate, or harassment. Every generation prompt is automatically screened by a content-moderation system before an image is generated; prompts that violate this policy are blocked, and repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund of remaining credits.
Store publishing and your developer accounts
Mokbi can publish your screenshots and store text straight to Google Play and App Store Connect. To do that you connect your own developer accounts, using API keys you create and paste in yourself. We store those keys encrypted, use them only to publish on your behalf, and you can revoke them at any time. A few things follow from that:
- You remain the account holder and the developer of record. You are solely responsible to Apple and Google for everything published to your listings, including compliance with their developer program agreements and review guidelines.
- Mokbi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Apple or Google, and connecting your account does not make us your agent.
- On the App Store we only stage your listing in "Prepare for Submission" — attaching a build and pressing Submit stays your action, in App Store Connect. On Google Play a publish updates your store listing directly.
- We are not responsible for what a store does with a listing you publish — including rejections, removals, ranking changes, or action against your developer account.
Verify before you publish
Publishing changes the live listing on your store. Translations and AI-generated copy are produced by machine and are not reviewed by us — a machine translation can be wrong, awkward or off-brand in a language you don't read, and AI-written copy can misstate what your app does. Before you publish, it is your responsibility to check every screenshot, every translation and all store text, for each language. You use Mokbi and rely on its output at your own risk. This is not us disclaiming a bad product; it's the honest split — we give you the tool and the preview, and the final "this is correct, publish it" is a decision only you can make about your own app.
What you can't do
- Use Mokbi to make screenshots for apps that violate the App Store / Play Store guidelines (illegal content, malware, scams).
- Use the AI features to generate NSFW, sexual, adult or sexually explicit content of any kind (see "Prohibited content" above).
- Connect a developer account that isn't yours, or publish with store credentials you're not authorised to use.
- Resell access to Mokbi, the device frames, or the templates as a competing product.
- Abuse the AI features to process non-screenshot content at scale, or circumvent usage limits.
- Reverse-engineer the cloud sync, the store connections or the auth flow to extract other users' data.
Payment
Purchases are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record; they handle billing and VAT worldwide. We don't see or store card details. Solo and Studio are subscriptions: they renew automatically — monthly or yearly, whichever plan you pick — until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for; nothing is charged after that. AI credits are a separate one-time purchase, bought in packs that never expire, on top of the monthly batch your plan includes. At checkout you consent to immediate access and acknowledge the effect on your right of withdrawal (see refunds).
Refunds
See the refund policy. Short version: because the editor and a full watermarked preview are free, you check the exact output before you pay; paid features are non-refundable once used, you can cancel a subscription anytime and keep access until the period ends, and AI credits never expire.
No warranty
Mokbi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, the accuracy of AI output or translations, and uninterrupted availability. We don't warrant that the tool is error-free or that a store will accept anything you publish. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Dutch or EU law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mokbi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost sales or store ranking, or the cost of correcting or re-submitting a published listing. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of Mokbi is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Indemnification
If you use Mokbi other than as a consumer (for example, on behalf of a business), you agree to hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from the content you publish through the tool or from your breach of these terms.
Availability
We aim for high uptime but offer no SLA. Subscribers get priority support but no specific uptime guarantee. AI features and store publishing depend on third-party providers (the AI providers, Apple and Google) and may be temporarily unavailable.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material, we'll post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes go to the Dutch courts unless EU consumer law mandates otherwise for your country.
