Getting started.

TL;DR. Open the editor at mokbi.com/app. Drag a screenshot onto the canvas. Pick a device frame from the right-hand properties panel. Done, that's a working panel. Add captions and more devices as you go.

1. Open the editor

No signup required. The button is in the header on every page, or go straight to /app. You'll land on a single empty panel with one device frame in it.

2. Drop a screenshot

Three ways to get a screenshot into the editor:

  • Drag and drop a PNG from your desktop directly onto a device frame. The image fills the device's screen.
  • Pair your phone via QR, click "Connect phone" in the header, scan the QR, pick photos on your phone. Screenshots transfer over WebRTC (browser to browser, nothing uploaded to our servers).
  • Upload via the device's properties panel: select the device, click "Upload screenshot" in the properties tab.

3. Add a caption

Click the "Text" button in the left-hand Add-buttons panel. A new text layer drops onto the canvas, drag it where you want, edit it from the properties panel on the right.

For App Store carousels, captions read best in the top quarter of the panel. We dropped the typical safe-area guidance in the aspect ratios guide.

4. Add more panels

Click the "+" button between panels or below the carousel to add a new panel. Each panel is its own editable surface, but the background gradient flows across all of them unless you override it per-panel. For "spanning" elements (a wave that crosses all panels, for instance), toggle the "Span over all panels" option on any layer.

5. Export

Designing and previewing are free; full-resolution export and store publishing unlock with a plan. Click "Export" in the header → pick which sizes you want (6.9" iPhone, iPad 13", etc.) → pick locales if you've enabled multi-language → click "Download ZIP". Solo is €29.99/month for one app; Studio is €49.99/month for up to five apps at once, both with unlimited exports in all 50 languages and every device. See pricing.
