Exporting screenshots.
The export modal
Designing and previewing are free; export and store publishing unlock with a plan. Click "Export" in the header to open the modal. Two sections:
- Locales: only shows if you have more than one locale enabled. Otherwise the active locale is exported.
- Download: clicking generates the ZIP and triggers a download.
ZIP folder structure
Multi-size + multi-locale example with 3 panels:
mokbi-yourapp-2026-05-13.zip ├── 6.9"/ │ ├── en-US/ │ │ ├── 01-hero.png │ │ ├── 02-features.png │ │ └── 03-pricing.png │ ├── de-DE/ │ │ ├── 01-hero.png │ │ ├── 02-features.png │ │ └── 03-pricing.png │ └── ja/ │ └── ... ├── iPad 13"/ │ └── ...
Uploading to App Store Connect
- App Store Connect → My Apps → your app → App Store tab → version → Screenshots section.
- Pick the device class (e.g., "iPhone 6.9-inch Display") and the locale.
- Drag the matching folder's PNGs from the ZIP onto the upload area. Order matters, Apple uses upload order as carousel order.
- Repeat per locale. Apple doesn't auto-copy across locales; each locale's screenshots upload separately.
- For Play Store: Play Console → Store Listing → Graphic assets. Upload at Phone screenshot or Tablet screenshot per platform tier.
The four sizes, and what each one covers
- iPhone 16 Pro Max —
1320 × 2868: the 6.9" class Apple requires. Apple scales it down for every smaller iPhone, so this one entry covers an iPhone-only app. - iPad Pro 13" —
2064 × 2752: the 13" class, required as soon as your app is universal. Same scaling rule applies on the iPad side. - Play Store phone —
1512 × 2688: 9:16, which is what Google Play accepts and what its recommendation slots require. A phone's own native resolution often isn't a ratio Play takes, so the export uses this slot rather than the handset's. - Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra —
2064 × 2752: the Play tablet tier. Upload it under Tablet screenshots; there is no separate 7-inch export to worry about.

Common questions
Can I export just one panel as PNG?
Not from the paid editor — the ZIP is always the full set, because that is what the stores ask for. For a single panel, use the free mockup generator: one panel, one device, full store resolution, with a small Mokbi mark you can move.
Why are my exported PNGs blurry?
Almost always means you have a low-resolution source screenshot inside a device frame. The export renders at exact App Store dimensions but can't add detail that wasn't there. Replace the screenshot with a higher-res capture.
Does export include the AI-translated locales?
Only the locales you've enabled in the language switcher. If you translated to all 50 but only enabled 5 in the switcher, the ZIP contains 5 locales.
